We are very close to completing our music video and are underway with developing our myspace and album cover. We have a band name and album name. Band Name: The Ones They Left Behind, Album Name: Trust The Conclusion. Our editing has been going well and after our re-shoot we seem to have really picked up the pace. We've had feedback from Ms Dymioti who liked the video had only had one or two issues now we are waiting for Mrs Blackborow's feedback.

Progress
Editing has been going well. We have a solid sequence which is really starting to come together. The only issue is our lack of beauty shots/close-ups so we are probably going to have to re-shoot which we plan to do on tuesday the 10th of November. This will also give us a chance to take some stills as evidence of production and also we can start stills for the band website, album cover and promo shots.

Reflections on The Shoot
On the 26th of October we shot our music video. It went really well and was really fun as we got to use 3 studio lights that we hired as well as a generator. We've capture the footage and it looks really great. For the next few weeks we will be editing hard.

CD Cover Deconstruction
- As the artists are Dj's they do not have an image of themselves as they don't feature in the music as in singing, so they do not need to show themselves. They let the music talk for itself
- The cover has a strong colour theme running throughout where on the back it is also black with white writing.
- The image is of a bat with red dripping from its wings, which looks like the photo has been stained. This creates enigma and adds questions of what is that, what does it mean, what does it represent?
- Eye Catching
- 'Caspa and Rusko' much larger and dominate over 'fabric 37'
- Came in tin can with this as a sleeve to go over the top. This is just another way the artists are trying to sell themselves by creating unique packaging. It also adds to the audience pleasure of having a hard copy and something which is a lot more long lasting then plastic cd cover.

DYM MYSPACE FEEDBACK
You have provided three good examples, Shaun, and demonstrate a good understanding of conventions and purpose, but your notes lack close semiotic analysis, which is a requirement of A2.
